Draft Trail Vision PlanIn 2004, the Greenway published a Draft Trail Vision Plan, the culmination of two years of research and a public input process that included open forums in the counties that comprise the Hudson River Valley Greenway Area. The Draft Plan establishes a framework for completing the land-based Greenway Trail from the Capital District to New York City, along both shores of the Hudson River and in key countryside corridors. The Greenway Draft Trail Vision Plan also guides the Greenway Conservancy Small Grant Program, which awards grants for trail projects which implement the goals of the Vision Plan.Download a copy of the Draft Trail Vision Plan Champlain Canalway Trail Action PlanThe Champlain Canalway Trail Action Plan is intended to help focus and coordinate locally-based efforts to complete the Champlain Canalway Trail. It uses narrative, maps and photographs to describe the existing conditions, issues and opportunities along the proposed trail route. Each segment of the Action Plan can be used as a stand-alone by an individual community, to help focus attention and prompt constructive dialog. Taken all together, the segments present a complete vision for the trail. A copy of the Champlain Canalway Vision Plan is available by clicking here.
