(Albany, NY) The Hudson River Valley Greenway is pleased to announce the City of Albany, on behalf of the Historic Albany Foundation, was awarded a $4,900 matching Greenway Communities Grant for the development of a Historic Structure Inventory. The Greenway Board awarded a total of $30,500 to four community projects in the Hudson River Valley at a recent meeting held in Newburgh.

(Albany, NY) Mark Castiglione, Acting Executive Director of the Hudson River Valley Greenway is pleased to announce that Hudson Crossing Park has received a $4,000 Greenway Conservancy small grant for Enhancements to the Hudson Riverwalk Sensory Trail and Canoe and Kayak Launch, part of a larger plan for the bi-county, educational Hudson Crossing Park. The Greenway Conservancy board made the announcement at a recent meeting, where a total of $50,000 in trail grants was awarded.

(Albany, NY) Mark Castiglione, Acting Executive Director of the Hudson River Valley Greenway, is pleased to announce the Town of Clifton Park has received a $5,000 matching Greenway Communities Grant for design resources to create a gateway as part of the new public access project planned for Ferry Drive. A total of $30,000 was awarded to five community projects in the Hudson Valley through the 2012 Greenway Council Community Grant Program.
