Greenway to begin $300,000 interpretive project of the Washington Rochambeau Revolutionary Route

In 2007, the Greenway was awarded a $300,000 TEP grant for the interpretation of the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route, now a National Historic Trails administered by the National Park Service (NPS).
In 2007, the Greenway was awarded a $300,000 TEP grant for the interpretation of the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route, now a National Historic Trails administered by the National Park Service (NPS). Since restrictions of the program would have prevented the Greenway from working with the NPS, the Greenway brokered a funding transfer from Federal Highway to NPS for the project. Greenway will still be the overall project manager. NPS site visits will commence in January or February.
